Improving
Life with the Use of Technology
Our
main concern in this specific area is to establish and formulate a type of
project which will delve into the realistic needs of the European
Community with respect to the use of technological equipment for the
improvement of human exigencies and the overall living needs of the EU
nationals.
The
6th Framework Programme which will be basically our main focus
in this regards, offers the possibility for all those interested investors
in discovering the needs of the Community with respect to its sustainable
technological growth. Based
on the Treaty establishing the European Union, the Framework Programme
serves two main strategic
objectives,
which are the strengthening of the scientific and technological bases of
industry and its international competitiveness while promoting research
activities in support of other EU policies.
The
main focus of FP6 is the creation of a European Research Area as a vision
for the future of research in Europe. It aims at scientific excellence,
improved competitiveness and innovation through the promotion of increased
co-operation, greater complementarity and improved co-ordination between
relevant actors, at all levels.
